Her effort to transplant Maga media to Britain has aligned her more closely to contentious individuals such as John Solomon.

He set up his media outlet after criticism following accusations of pushing false stories about the President's actions in Ukraine, as well as disputed reports about ex-ambassador to the region.

His claims were repeated throughout the pro-Trump outlets, with the journalist serving as a frequent visitor on Sean Hannity's influential Fox News program. The former president personally promoted his stories.

Solomon made the reports about Ukraine in a set of articles for the political newspaper The Hill, where he was moved to a columnist role following internal criticism regarding his reporting. Not long after Solomon left the newspaper in October 2019, the news organization stated it was conducting a examination of his columns about Ukrainian matters. It found he had cited unreliable sources and said he "did not disclose important details about main Ukrainian informants, including the fact that they had been indicted or were being probed."

Becoming Part of the Sphere

The academic said the expansion of the digital conservative movement in the United Kingdom recently meant the "chance to have a larger effect is substantial."
